Managing Operational Risk & Governance Level 6

About the Programme

Explore how banks achieve business objectives, enhance stakeholder returns and meet client expectations through effective operational risk management.

Learn online from industry practitioners to gain the practical skills you need to manage operational risk and add value to your bank.

Why study This programme?

Operational risk has been transformed by Covid but as a leader in banking and finance, you have to embrace change.

That means, if you’re a senior financial professional – from mid-management to board level – you need a solid understanding of how to stay ahead and manage operational risks as they evolve.

Along with the legal obligations that banks must meet, MOPR covers:

  • fraud
  • system failures
  • security breaches
  • model risk
  • legal and reputational risk.

You’ll learn from a selection of life-like scenarios that demonstrate the practical elements of risk management within a contemporary bank.

You’ll discover how to manage operational risk to increase business performance in the current macro-economic environment and build your knowledge of best practice in bank governance.

MOPR will help you advance your career and help you progress towards chartered status with The London Institute of Banking & Finance.
